OK OK, I realize that a lot of effort went into production on this but it seems like THAT is what you are basing this whole thing on. That is only half the battle. The idea itself wasn’t very funny or clever. It feels like you thought, how can we impress people and then built an idea around that. Cool effects but remember, story always is the most important.
Obviously everybody’s friends are voting for their friends’ videos, as am I. But if I honestly compare this to the many others I watched, this one most closely goes with swa’s campaign, has the best production value, is original, and most of the others were just plain bad!
I doubt Joe Stipa has seen any of the other videos, or the previous swa commercials. This is the best of the lot. Plus that guy in the brown coat is HOT!
It was good, not sure I understand the humor…almost to literally. The guys running, and the captain just backing away..it would have been funnier if their had been other people in the deck or on the boat that the captain had to give a look to.
very impressive!
Pretty impressive but also if this is original content the production cost must have been pretty steep .
Awesome piece! Definitely got my vote!
really nice job Stu, I hope you win..
Very nice work. HUGE & subtle. …and funny to boot.
Wow…
My feet hurt! Good show…
Very cool. How does one get to shoot on the bridge of an aircraft carrier? Or is that a sneaky composite? If so, even cooler!
Hey all, thanks for the votes and comments! There will be some “the making of” details about this entry at prolost.com in the next few days.
-Stu, director of Fender Bender

He was hot, huh? I should try to get his number…
Awesome! Great job! And yes, he IS hot!!
Meh, it’s OK I guess because the loud crash is at least attention-getting. As far as the special effects go…sometimes less is more.
Love it! How’d you manage to bag a shot on the bridge of a big boat though?
My wife was in the Royal Navy…she loves it when I call them boats
Another very well done spec. Congrats! I think My favorites are “this” and “the funeral” spot.
watch out for that carrier!
Awesome! This spot looks like it must have cost a million bucks!
It was good, not sure I understand the humor…almost to literally. The guys running, and the captain just backing away..it would have been funnier if their had been other people in the deck or on the boat that the captain had to give a look to.
Good…
Know how you can tell that most ofthe comments are from friends? Most people don’t even know what a carrier is let alone that this ship is one…
Funnnnnny!! Nice CGI work…it looked real!
Great job!
I love this, Stu! Almost as cool as Sin City!!!
By the way, gotta tell ya. I love the DV Rebel’s Guide.
